more pnds to go!   to hit first goal.

and i have to admit , the treadmill has not felt my feet pounding upon it for awhile.  just been eating better and less.  funny how when you watch your intake your actual stomach capacity does shrink.  i knew that already of course but i find sometimes now i will eat a regular helping and other times i am just not as hungry for half of that.  make sense!   well, now 5 more melted AWAY.   yes!  i calculate that since my last journal, 4 weeks, that is 1.25 drop per week from just eating better.  and that is the healthy way to lose it.  slowly and steadily.  when i workout i average about a 2-2.5 drop per week.  that is also the rec. healthy approach to keeping it off.

anyhow i feel the need to get up and run some. so back to the treadmill.  yeh, i KNOW i said that already but now since i am only 7 away from goal, that treadmill will aid toward this attainable victory.

its funny, now i am able to wear my hubbys jeans-  okay backtrack.... he weighs more than me, duh!  BUT he is thin in the hips and legs.  so his jeans now fit me, someone with hips and whatnot.  ha!   and my jeans?  it looks like i pooped my pants after an hour of wearing them cuz they are sagging to the ground.  and i am NOT gangster!

actually now my bmi is at a healthy weight.  and, at my current weight i am on target for my height,
which is 5 ft. 9.   so i am GOOD with it.  in reality i have already reached my goal.  20 pnds was sufficient.

but onward we go.  and i only step on the scale occasionally.  it can lie. did you know that?  yep.  do not step on it for at least one week.  once you see a steady set weight for about 5 days than consider THAT your new 'number'.    i really just judge by my clothes. as i have said before, clothes are the only true indicator of weight. they do NOT lie ;)

so that's that.  all i got to say about it.  i want to get back into cardio, meaning treadmill running/incline walk.  i loved it so much.  i fell of the mill so to speak.  but i feel the desire uprosing again.   once that hits, i am on it with much love. ha!  no, really.  i do enjoy it.  the run!  the sweat.  the feeling of being fit.  oh and the joy i get from the afterglow of drenched hair and rag wet tshirts.  now THAT shows progress.

lost 2 but hold up!

my mo-jo went on vacation. 
my feet have not touched the mill for 3 weeks.  bad i know. 
but good news have kept eating habits in check. 
staying steady at weight with a 2 pound drop.
so not bad for  being lazy lately.

it sucks when the motivation stops.
but it always comes back.  full force.

other priorities snuck up on me.  and the mill kinda faded into background.
but i am seeing it again, staring at me.  asking for a run.

so 18 pnds dropped. altogether.  pants dont fit anymore.  love it!
have noticed though that if i do not continue with my weekly workouts my body SCREAMS at me!
aches and pains of muscles that were being set in motion tell me to get BACK to it .

ok.  fall off and get back on .  thats life. ☺

and that first one is very important to me. i am focused on it .
and after that, comes the ultimate goal.  5 more pounds and will be over the hump toward that.

post 3

officially allowing this blog as public viewing today.

my new routine is, or is getting to be, an avarage of 4 days
per week on treadmill.  average 3.5 miles each.

and, starting running more.   ran my first mile !

now adding in tummy floor exercise after TM.

down 3 more pounds since last post.

i have found that tv helps alot for the hour on the TM.

sometimes will add in a song from youtube to get me motivated.

found a good one yesterday watching a movie- and IT is the music you hear playing when you clik the youtube link in sidebar above.....by the way does anyone know how to add music to blogger so it starts up by itself.

Nutrition a.k.a. food changes:

I have done very good in this area.  Watching what I eat and adding in healthy choices.  Moderation.  I have begun to WANT good foods versus bad ones too.  My taste buds are changing and desire less non nutrional food.  I have founds ways to prepare meals , freeze them, and eat on them for over a week.  Nutrionally yummy meals.  I do not elimanate all so called bad foods.  I still give myself days for those.  I have learned if you cut out one type of food altogether that is no good overall. A little here and a bit there.  The body needs to know it can have all foods in moderation.  I have learned this.  I have certainly cut down the bad foods by hm, 80 percent tho.  There is no longer temptations in our pantry for the most part!  Still drink my half coffee half cappo combos !!!   : )

post 2

ah!  weighed in at 2 weeks, lost 5 pnds.  weighed in a week later lost 3 more.  last check lost 2 more.  so 10 pnds GONE!!!

how?   treadmill .    motivation.   switching up my routine on treadmilll.  checking what goes into my mouth.  is it nutritional?    some days do 2.5 miles, some do 3.5 miles, some do 5 miles.  incline fast walk treadmill, run treadmill, interchange.  take a day or two off to reset.

started sit ups.   ran the stairs.

in one month i will look to lose another 10!

on the way to my goal of my fitness plan.

my new blog. my first post here!
this will be my journal of my fitness goals and a personal account for me to read over.  if it helps others to get motivated or find the strength to find a workout routine, then it will serve that passive purpose too.  for myself, i wanted a blog based just on my daily ins and outs with finding my way into the fitness of me.
